Simon Hedley

For decisions where the pattern matters.

Strategic Alchemy® is rooted in Simon’s unusual combination of mathematical training, financial and commercial experience, entrepreneurial practice, deep human-potential work and long-term relationship building.

His work is most useful when a founder, owner or investor has something meaningful at stake: growth, positioning, partnerships, capital, offers, succession, value creation or a move that needs to be made cleanly.

Commercial grounding

Simon studied Mathematics at Durham, qualified as a Chartered Accountant and worked in banking capital markets, structuring and investment management before building and advising businesses.

Strategic pattern recognition

He is known for seeing constraints, opportunities and relationships that are easy to miss from inside the situation, then turning complexity into a clearer strategic move.

Human and relational depth

Alongside commercial work, Simon has spent decades exploring human potential, transformational technologies, communication, connection and the conditions that help people create meaningful results.

Strategic Alchemy®

The work behind the work.

The public expression is simple: clearer thinking, better decisions, stronger relationships and meaningful momentum. Behind that sits a lifetime of methods, models, conversations, experiments, businesses, books, projects and private client work.

This page is not intended to explain everything Simon has done. It is here to give context for why Strategic Alchemy® exists, and why the work is designed for serious people with real decisions to make.
